DHL INNOVATION DAY 2012 – Logistics 2050: FROM SCIENCE FICTION TO REALITY
DHL Innovation Day 2012
„Logistics 2050 - From Science Fiction to Reality“
Innovative ideas, sustainable and efficient logistics concepts – these are the driving forces behind the ‘DHL Innovation Award’. During the DHL Innovation Day, DHL honors the most innovative and promising logistics solutions designed for practical use in business. Since 2008, the ‘DHL Innovation Award’ has been awarded on an annual basis, to scientists as well as to dedicated employees and companies, in recognition of their innovative spirit of research.
On 15 March 2012, DHL will once more serve as the showcase for topics around the world of logistics.
Future is the prevalent topic. What image of the future did people have in the past, and how does this differ from the present? What does the future hold for us and how will our time be viewed in hindsight? These, and other exciting questions dealing with the world of logistics, will be explored by our high quality speakers and discussants on that day. We will also think outside of the box of logistics and set the focus on the change of society and global trade.
The award ceremony will complete round the day as in the recent years. Awards for the most innovative scientist, customer, employee as well as a ‘Jugend forscht’ (Young Scientist) award will be presented by prominent industry professionals like the CEO of DPDHL, Dr. Frank Appel.
Interesting conversations, future-oriented discussions, we present to you the DHL Innovation Day.
